Hello WarWhistles,
Just inform you I’ve received the package and the whistle is perfect. Be sure I’m gonna recommend you to whoever asks me. Have a nice day! YOP - Spain One of our customers in Germany has put together a Military Police uniform display from the Vietnam and Cold War period. His whistle was missing a chain so he purchased one of our aged nickel whistle chains to finish off the display:
Hello WarWhistles,
I received the whistle today. In good condition. It was a quick shipping. It's my second one, I bought another one in 2019 from warhats, if I'm right. I put a fixed string on it, like a pendant. This ditching whistle is a mighty one. I used the first one on several times in 2019 during the protests against the breaking of our pensions systems. I was ensuring the safety of the walkers, because there are always some nervous drivers in the streets trying to force through the procession. Dangerous situation. My workmates were surprised how powerful the Thunderer was and asked me "hey, where did you get this whistle?" I said it's a war whistle and explained. I'll attach the second one to the collar of the jacket I daily wear, like WW2 allied aviators did. It's useful to warn the people in case of danger and accident. Thanks a lot Best regards Take care and stay safe, D - France To Whom it may Concern,
My order arrived earlier this evening and find myself facing a lack of words to express how pleased I am with these whistles. They are dead on the same as the one my grandfather carried and used during WW1. Even the particularly shrill tone is dead on accurate. I never forgot that sound, and now I can expose my grandchildren to a functional piece of our family's history. Thank you for exerting the effort and capital to begin manufacturing these again. Sincerely, M - USA |
