Aged condition. WW1 and WW2 Whistle box for the escargot whistle. War Department marked with 'WHISTLE SIGNALLING' ,Broad Arrow 'WD' and 'NUMBER 58' which is the model number of our WWI and WWII Large Thunderer escargot whistles. It will take one or two of the escargot Thunderer whistles and the internal measurements are: 50mm (L) x 45mm(W) x 30mm (T).
Each box is unique with faded cardboard finish, grey and rusty staples and weak and faded top markings. No two boxes will be the same.
This box is perfect for collectors or re-enactors who want to use the box to transport or display their aged or old escargot whistle. Makes a great conversation piece in itself.
The whistle in the advert is bought separately and does not come with the box.
