WW2 Whistle box for the Air Ministry, War Department marked ACME 23/230 - 293/14/L1795 or similar whistle. The box has been aged to look very old with lots of stains and blemishes and the staples are rusting and weeping into the cardboard. The box is fully sound and still can be used.
This box is perfect for collectors or reenactors who want to use the box to transport or display their whistle.
The final picture shows five boxes all in aged condition to show you that each one is unique, no two will be the same. This box will not take the long 'Metropolitan' type whistles, we have a separate box for these.
This box will only hold 23/230 60.5 type whistles.
